Universal Rotating Hand Strap for Tablets

The Challenge

A large logistics company needed a way to get a secure grip on their tablets. The issue was that they used many different styles and brands and needed a one-size-fits-all solution.

The Solution

The universal hand strap attaches to any 10″ tablet. The swivel allows the device to easily go from portrait to landscape mode. D-rings make it easy to attach a shoulder strap if needed. AGORA also extended the design and created straps to fit 7″ and 8″ models.

The Challenge

Design a modular mobile pack carrying board (RoutePad) to carry a Zebra MC65 Handheld and a Zebra RW420 4inch Thermal Printer with capability to fasten to a hand truck.

The Solution

A RoutePad was designed with a removable holster for the MC65 Handheld so the RoutePad would be scalable for a replacement device while still maintaining functionality – which has an extra two years on its digital life span compared to the MC65.

The RoutePad also includes heavy-duty D-rings which can be attached to a hand truck for easier usage when carting product.

The Challenge

The customer needed a solution that would allow the user to use a MC40 scanning device without losing the ability to use both hands. They also needed the solution to allow them to quickly be able to use the device while holding it in their hands.

The Solution

We created a wrist mount for the MC40 using a breathable material in all places that came in contact with the users skin. This feature ensured the wrist mount would be keep the user cool and comfortable.

We used an injection molded holster to attach the device to the wrist mount. The MC40 will now easily snap into and be removed from the wrist mount. The final result is a comfortable solution that increases the efficiency of the user.

The Challenge

Due to exposure to harsh environments, a customer requested a custom IP-67 rated Operating Case for their mobile printer. This would essentially rate the product dust-proof and water-proof.

The Solution

Using a Stamoid material commonly used in the fabrication of outdoor awnings, we provided a solution that was as close to an IP-67 rating that a soft case can get. A waterproof concealed zipper allowed for a contoured custom fit around the device.

An OP Case was designed with a removable heating element. The display remains fully accessible beneath a urethane window, with a FaceProtect flap when not in use.
